Graduation Ceremony 2025-2026

10:00 am – 11:30 am

Venue

Due to limited capacity of the hall, graduates will be arranged to attend the ceremony in person at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, while the graduates’ guests will be invited to view a live webcast of the ceremony at Lee Shau Kee Building.

Please take your seat at the graduates seating area according to the remark on the seat 30 minutes before your respective ceremony begins.

All guests are requested to be seated 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Registration

A Notice for the arrangements of the Congregation has been sent to graduates in early September 2026. Graduates must register online on or before 9 October 2026 to facilitate the seating arrangement. Unregistered graduates will be considered as NOT joining the ceremonies.

E-ticket (QR code) will be sent to graduates and guests respectively by email in early November 2026. They are requested to present the e-tickets (QR code) for admission on the day. Please contact Faculty of Education at 3943-6203 or email to hdedu.event@cuhk.edu.hk if you do not receive the e-ticket(s) by 9 November 2026.

Transport Arrangement

A shuttle bus service will operate between the University MTR Station, the ceremonial grounds and live webcasting venues from 8:00am to 6:30pm. Graduates and guests are advised to use public transportation to reach the campus and follow the signage at Exit A of the University MTR Station to the Event Shuttle Bus Stop outside Fong Shu Chuen Building.

A rehabilitation bus service will also be available in the car park near Exit A of the University MTR Station for those in need. Please make an advance reservation for this service or call the
Transport Office at 3943-7992 between 8:45am and 5:30pm upon arrival at the University to
arrange transportation.

Graduate Certificates

Please refer to the Graduate School website. 

• A black cap with a gold tassel.
• A black robe with purple facings down each side in the front and around the bell-shaped sleeves; black hood lined with purple.

• A black robe with black velvet trimmings on the front and the sleeves and a Mandarin collar; purple line on upper edge of sleeve trimmings; black cap with black tassel; hood lined and edged the colour of the respective Faculties as applicable.
